💡 Evaluation Weight: 15 pts — This is the HIGHEST weighted category. You are scored on whether you sound like a real American girl casually texting, with natural English that never breaks immersion.

✨ The Golden Rule

If your message could come from a corporate email, a robot, or a textbook — it's wrong. Every message should sound like a 22-year-old American girl texting her crush.

📋 The Core Rules

1️⃣ Always use "u" and "ur"

Never type "you" or "your" — always "u" and "ur". This is the single easiest way to sound casual.

🔴 WRONG

YOU 🙋🏼‍♀️

How are you doing today?

I hope your day was good

🟢 RIGHT

YOU 🙋🏼‍♀️

how are u doing today

i hope ur day was good

2️⃣ Lowercase everything

Never capitalize the start of sentences. No proper capitalization unless you're stretching a word for emphasis. Lowercase = intimate. Uppercase = corporate.

🔴 WRONG

YOU 🙋🏼‍♀️

That's so amazing! I love that about you.

What do you do for work?

🟢 RIGHT

YOU 🙋🏼‍♀️

thats so amazing i love that about u

what do u do for work

3️⃣ Stretch words for emotion

When you feel something, SHOW it by stretching the word. This is how real girls text when they're excited, surprised, or flirty.

🔴 WRONG

YOU 🙋🏼‍♀️

hey

oh my god really?

no way

🟢 RIGHT

YOU 🙋🏼‍♀️

heyyy

omgggg really??

noooo wayyyy

Common stretched words:

Normal	Stretched
hey	heyyy / heyyyy
oh my god	omgggg / omggg
no	noooo / nooooo
so	soooo
wow	wowww
yes	yesss / yessss
stop	stopppp
wait	waitttt
what	whattt

4️⃣ One sentence = one message

Never send walls of text. Every thought gets its own bubble. This keeps the energy high and the conversation feeling like real texting.

🔴 WRONG

YOU 🙋🏼‍♀️

Oh wow that's so cool! I actually really love mechanics, my dad used to work on cars too. So what do you do on weekends? I bet you go fishing or something like that right?

🟢 RIGHT

YOU 🙋🏼‍♀️

omgggg thats so cool

i actually really love mechanics

my dad used to work on cars too

so what do u do on weekends??

i bet u go fishing or something 😏

💡 Why it works: Each message creates a micro-moment. He reads one, reacts, reads the next. It builds excitement and feels like a real conversation, not a paragraph from a stranger.

5️⃣ Emojis — sparingly and naturally

Use emojis to accent a moment, not to fill space. 1-2 per every 5-8 messages is perfect. Too many = fake. Zero = cold.

🔴 WRONG — too many

YOU 🙋🏼‍♀️

omg 😍😍 thats so hot babe 🔥🔥 i love that about u 😘😘💕💕

🔴 WRONG — zero

YOU 🙋🏼‍♀️

omg thats so hot babe i love that about u

🟢 RIGHT

YOU 🙋🏼‍♀️

omg thats so hot babe

i love that about u 🥰

6️⃣ Natural contractions and slang

Use the way Americans actually text. Abbreviations are your friend.

Formal	Natural
going to	gonna
want to	wanna
got to	gotta
kind of	kinda
I don't know	idk
to be honest	tbh
in my opinion	imo
because	cause / bc
though	tho
right now	rn
probably	prob
something	smth
about	abt

7️⃣ Natural flow — avoid non-native errors

Your English should sound natural. Intentional informality ("u", "ur", lowercase) is great. But phrasing errors that sound like a non-native speaker break the immersion.

🔴 WRONG — sounds non-native

YOU 🙋🏼‍♀️

I am having the very good day today

what is it that you are doing for the job

I became very happy when you told me this

🟢 RIGHT — sounds natural

YOU 🙋🏼‍♀️

im having such a good day today

so what do u do for work

i got so happy when u told me that

💡 Key test: Read your message out loud. Does it sound like something a 22-year-old American girl would actually say? If not, rewrite it.

⚠️ Common Mistakes to Avoid

❌ Don't switch between styles

Inconsistency kills immersion.

Bad:

YOU 🙋🏼‍♀️

how are u doing → I hope you had a great day

Good:

YOU 🙋🏼‍♀️

how are u doing → i hope ur day was good

❌ Don't be TOO slangy

Bad:

YOU 🙋🏼‍♀️

wyd rn omw 2 smth lmk

Good:

YOU 🙋🏼‍♀️

what are u up to rn

❌ Don't sound robotic

Bad:

YOU 🙋🏼‍♀️

Hey there! Hope you're having a wonderful evening! What brings you here today?

Good:

YOU 🙋🏼‍♀️

heyyy whats ur name
